This summer, the Gorton Center in Lake Forest is set to host a vibrant lineup of entertainment that caters to fans of all ages. Ann Wildman, Director of Events, emphasizes the center's commitment to showcasing a diverse array of performances designed to resonate with various demographics and preferences. The exciting season kicks off on June 20 at 7:30 PM with a unique Dueling Pianos show featuring the talented duo, Pianomonium. Fans can expect not just music, but a fun, comedic atmosphere with audience participation, making it a perfect night out for adults. Tickets range from $21 to $33.60, and the performers, Mike Sherman and Robert Deason, have honed their craft together for two years, blending humor and music seamlessly.

Sherman describes their performance as a sibling-like interaction filled with playful banter. Their act includes preplanned musical pieces featuring beloved hits from icons like Billy Joel and Elton John, alongside a spontaneous second act where the audience takes the reins. Attendees can request songs, which the duo passionately mashes up, creating a unique and lively musical experience. With thousands of songs in their repertoire, Sherman promises an upbeat and chaotic second half that guarantees the audience will leave having had a great time.

Following the Dueling Pianos, the Gorton Center will host the Chris Stapleton tribute band, Tennessee Whiskey, on June 29 at 4 PM.
