Join Tony, Ziva, and Tali on an Epic European Adventure Full of Family, Intrigue, and Romance!

**The Reunion of Tony and Ziva: A Journey Across Europe in "NCIS: Tony & Ziva"**

Fans of the beloved “NCIS” franchise are in for a treat as Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo reprise their iconic roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in the upcoming spinoff titled "NCIS: Tony & Ziva." This new series reunites the characters, introducing their 12-year-old daughter Tali, portrayed by Isla Gie, as they embark on a thrilling adventure across Europe. This long-awaited return was teased with exclusive first-look photos and a teaser released on April 17, generating buzz for the series set to premiere this fall on Paramount+.

In a heartfelt statement, Weatherly, who also serves as an executive producer of the series alongside De Pablo, expressed his excitement for this project. “Shooting 'NCIS: Tony & Ziva' was the biggest professional adventure of my life,” he said, eager to share the series with fans. He promises that the show will capture the essence of the beloved couple known affectionately as “Tiva,” while providing a deeper exploration of their relationship dynamic. “We aim to give viewers a deeper groove on 'Tony & Ziva'… and locations you can't get on a backlot,” Weatherly added, spotlighting the series' unique European setting.

The storyline begins with Tony and Ziva raising their daughter Tali in the romantic city of Paris, where life takes a tumultuous turn. When Tony's private security company comes under attack, the family finds themselves on the run, racing across iconic locales throughout Europe to uncover the mystery surrounding their pursuers. The production team dedicated eight months to filming across diverse European settings, including Budapest, Hungary, and the Canary Islands, which is bound to bring a vibrant and immersive backdrop to the series. John McNamara, executive producer, shared the excitement of filming abroad, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in showcasing the beautiful and exotic environments Tony and Ziva navigate during their adventure.

Joining the core cast are newcomers Amita Suman as Claudette, Tony’s chief technical officer, and Maximilian Osinski, known for his role in “Ted Lasso,” playing Boris, a skilled Russian hacker. The new characters are set to add depth and intrigue to the narrative, complementing the dynamic of Tony, Ziva, and Tali. This expansion of the cast promises to enhance the experience for viewers, who are no doubt eager to see how these new personalities interact with the familiar faces they’ve loved for years.

Tony and Ziva’s on-screen chemistry ignited back in 2005, when De Pablo joined the "NCIS" cast in Season 3, immediately captivating audiences with their nontraditional love story. Even after De Pablo's departure from the show in 2013, the couple’s story lingered in the hearts of fans. The Season 13 finale in 2016 marked a critical moment when Tony learned that Ziva had been presumed dead, coinciding with Tony discovering he had a daughter named Tali, whom Ziva had kept a secret. Following his exit from "NCIS" to focus on parenting, Weatherly starred in the short-lived drama “Bull.” De Pablo, however, returned for a four-episode arc in Season 17, culminating in a brief, poignant reunion that saw Ziva join Tony and Tali in Paris. This journey towards family was a bittersweet, yet hopeful closure for fans who had long supported “Tiva.”

In "NCIS: Tony & Ziva," Isla Gie's portrayal of Tali promises to inject fresh energy into the narrative. Described by McNamara as "bright, headstrong, funny, and fierce," Tali embodies the qualities of both her parents, signaling that she may not shy away from trouble when it arises. This character development will likely resonate with audiences who appreciate strong, relatable young characters in family-centered stories. With Gie portraying Tali at age 12 and Olivia Brody stepping in for flashbacks as a younger version, the narrative structure hints at a multifaceted exploration of family dynamics and growth.

As the reunion unfolds, Weatherly echoed his enthusiasm for working alongside De Pablo again, noting how seamlessly the two actors fell back into their roles. “It was surprising how Cote and I just fell into this new place with our characters,” he remarked, highlighting how the journey informs their perspective and aspirations for the future. With both humor and sincerity, Weatherly captured the essence of the journey that both the characters and the viewers are about to embark upon. The anticipation is palpable, as audiences prepare for an adventure filled with action, mystery, and the tangled relationships that have long been a hallmark of the "NCIS" series.

As "NCIS: Tony & Ziva" gears up for its debut, fans of the franchise are more excited than ever to see what lies ahead for Tony, Ziva, and Tali. With stunning international settings and a cast that both honors the legacy of the original series while paving new paths, this spinoff promises to marry nostalgia with thrilling new content. Whether it’s the heart-stopping action or the emotional stakes that unfold throughout their adventure in Europe, this series is poised to deliver an unforgettable chapter in the world of “NCIS.”
