Over the course of two weeks, an extensive film crew prepared for the shoot, culminating in a marathon 18-hour filming day at the Schmidt farm, along with additional scenes shot at a Tractor Supply store in Hartford.

Deanna was astonished by the scale of the production. “I was taken aback by the sheer number of people involved,” she mused, recalling trucks, tents, and even food stylists on set. The crew was a mosaic of talents, all coming together for the Schmidts’ small operation. Despite the busy environment, the directives were refreshingly straightforward: just be yourselves. She speculates that her husband, Roger, and their dog, Rodee, will steal the spotlight, especially since Rodee stood out in a bright red outfit during the shoot. Deanna humbly wonders if anyone will recognize her.
