Get Ready for a Star-Studded Showdown of Music, Thrills, and Family Fun at the 78th Annual San Bernardino County Fair!

The vibrant and thrilling 78th San Bernardino County Fair is set to light up the summer with an exciting lineup of entertainment, featuring both celebrity musical performances and exhilarating competitions. Scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, the fair will run from May 24 to 26 and again from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at the fairgrounds in Victorville, California. This year's theme, "Fun for the Whole Herd," promises a diverse array of events that will appeal to all ages and tastes, spotlighting the dynamic intersection of country music and traditional fair attractions.
Kicking off the festivities, the Dirt Series will take center stage starting Saturday, May 24, with a heart-pounding display of power as monster trucks and other impressive vehicles tear up the arena, thrilling fans under the roaring sun. As we move into Sunday, May 25, the atmosphere will shift to a more carnage-filled spectacle with the highly anticipated Annual Demolition Derby, where participants will smash and crash in a contest that captures the wild spirit of the fair. Wrapping up the Dirt Series on Monday, May 26, will be the electrifying Bull Riding competition, a hallmark of the fair that showcases the bravery and skill of riders from all over.
The music scene at this year's fair will be headlined by the celebrated country duo LOCASH, renowned for their catchy songs and upbeat performances. This powerhouse pair, composed of Preston Brust and Chris Lucas, will kick off the concert series on Saturday, May 31. Known as “country music’s iconic feel-good duo” by *PEOPLE*, LOCASH is ready to deliver a fresh setlist supported by their own record label, Galaxy Label Group, in partnership with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. With high-profile hits like “I Love This Life,” “One Big Country Song,” and “I Know Somebody” under their belt, they have successfully carved a remarkable niche in the country music landscape since their emergence in 2015. The duo has also hinted at new music arriving this spring, generating excitement among fans.
Joining LOCASH on this musical journey is Joe Peters, a rising star from Bakersfield, often dubbed the "Country Music Capital of the West." Peters has a rich backstory that intertwines the worlds of rodeo and music. Raised amid the sounds of legendary country artists like Waylon Jennings and George Strait, Peters began his journey in the saddle and on stage at a young age. A tragic injury briefly sidelined him from rodeo, nudging him to delve deeper into songwriting and performing, ultimately leading to his debut EP in 2020. By 2021, he found himself collaborating with Nashville’s elite songwriters and sharing the stage with legends like Brooks & Dunn and Tim McGraw. With a hard-earned reputation and a growing fan base, Peters represents the new wave of country artists revitalizing the genre today.
The music festivities will continue the following night, Sunday, June 1, with a performance by Banda Los Sebastianes de Saúl Plata, a distinguished group from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. Formed in 2012 under the skilled guidance of producer Saúl Plata, the band has made significant strides within the Banda music genre, achieving critical acclaim and a Latin Grammy Award for their Best Banda Music Album in 2019. This talented ensemble has continuing to expand their reach and relevance in the music scene, particularly popularizing hits such as "Indeleble" and “Mi Meta Contigo.” The inclusion of Javier Larrañaga as a third vocalist has added fresh energy to the mix, captivating audiences and reinforcing their place in the industry.
Beyond the musical offerings, the San Bernardino County Fair will feature an array of traditional fair attractions, from thrilling carnival rides to unique vendor stalls showcasing homemade products. Fair-goers can look forward to a wealth of options, including local crafts, delicious food, and everything from clothing to home furnishings. Visitors will also have opportunities to engage with livestock exhibits courtesy of Future Farmers of America, culminating in the Junior Livestock Auction set for Saturday, May 31. This vibrant array of attractions ensures that there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a thrill-seeker or someone looking to relax and enjoy good food and company.
With the return of favorites like the $20 Truckload Special, where drivers and their passengers can enjoy a flat-rate entry while parking, the fair remains an accessible and exciting option for families and individuals alike.
