Billie Eilish and Finneas Embrace a New Era with Jason Owen, Ready to Redefine Their Sound and Artistic Journey

In a bold new chapter for Billie Eilish, the celebrated singer has made a significant move in her career by switching management. Eilish has enlisted the expertise of Jason Owen, a seasoned talent manager known for cultivating female artists. Owen, who runs Sandbox Entertainment, has a roster that includes popular figures like Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini. This shift also extends to her brother and main collaborator, Finneas, marking a fresh start for the sibling duo as they continue evolving their sound and artistry.

For more than a decade, Eilish and Finneas were under the guidance of Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman at Best Friends Music Management. During this time, they transformed from a viral phenomenon into a global music powerhouse. They achieved remarkable milestones together, propelling Eilish into the limelight with hits like “Bad Guy” and “Everything I Wanted,” and garnering a staggering 100 million followers on Spotify. Their collaborative journey has produced numerous chart-toppers, establishing them as a dominant force in the music industry.

Jason Owen is no stranger to success. With roots in the country music scene, he launched Sandbox Entertainment in 2010 after holding prominent positions at Universal Music Nashville. Under his leadership, Sandbox has not only thrived in managing artists but also made significant strides in film, television, and theater. Noteworthy projects include a documentary on June Carter Cash and the Broadway hit "Shucked." Owen has earned accolades from Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Awards, cementing his status as an influential figure in the entertainment industry, especially when it comes to promoting female talent.

Billie Eilish first made waves in the music world in 2015 with her hit “Ocean Eyes,” written by Finneas. By 2019, her debut album, *When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?*, catapulted her to superstardom, winning Grammys across major categories like Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Her subsequent albums, *Happier Than Ever* and *Hit Me Hard and Soft*, solidified her place in music history with hits such as “Happier Than Ever” and “Therefore I Am.” Eilish’s talent has also earned her two Oscars for Best Original Song for her contributions to blockbuster films like *No Time to Die* and *Barbie*.

Eilish and Finneas' artistic partnership has proven fruitful, with Finneas co-writing and producing the majority of Eilish’s tracks. He is also making a name for himself in his solo career, having collaborated with various artists, including Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. His artistry comes to life in two solo albums, *Optimist* and *For Cryin’ Out Loud*, showcasing his versatility beyond being Eilish’s brother. As both siblings prepare for this new management journey, their established chemistry and shared vision suggest that even greater accomplishments lie ahead.

While the decision to part ways with Rukasin and Goodman carries a sense of poignancy for Eilish’s team, there remains a strong foundation of mutual respect stemming from their successful collaboration. Eilish is currently gearing up for the European leg of her *Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour*, set to kick off in Stockholm next month. As she embarks on this new era under Owen’s management, the anticipation builds for what could be yet another transformative phase in her already illustrious career. The music world is eager to see how this partnership will unfold and what innovative art will emerge from this talented family duo as they continue to push boundaries and capture global audiences.
