This hit ABC show follows surgical intern named Meredith Grey, daughter of renowned surgeon Ellis Grey, began her career at Seattle Grace Hospital along with fellow interns Izzie, George and Cristina. Ever since that day, we’ve been unable to get enough of this group as they struggle with life as surgeons — and perhaps even more significantly, coming of age in a tumultuous world. All the medical schooling they’ve had can’t prepare them for becoming adults, or help them discover what they want to get out of life.

It’s moving, sad and funny. Not unlike real life. It’s no surprise that the show has attracted millions of devoted fans. Most of us will never be doctors, but we can all relate to the Grey’s Anatomy characters in one way or another. This is why we all love it so.
